Ferries from Trieste

Minoan Lines provides all four of the ferry routes connecting Trieste with Greece. This port in Italy's Friuli-Venezia Giulia region has direct sailings to two Greek ports: Igoumenitsa and Patras. Situated at the head of the Adriatic Sea, it is a key departure point for vehicle and passenger traffic between Italy and the western coast of Greece.

From here, sailings to Igoumenitsa take approximately 27 hours. The longer crossing is to Patras, in the Peloponnese, with a journey time of around 33 hours. Minoan Lines is the sole operator for these international services.

The schedules offer connections between northern Italy and two distinct regions of Greece. Igoumenitsa serves the Epirus region, while Patras is a major access point for southern Greece. All four routes are international crossings over the Adriatic and Ionian Seas.
