Ferries from Synnervika brygge

Synnervika is the northern end of the lake service. Røa is the only destination — 4.3 nautical miles, 30 minutes southbound on the single 09:00 departure, 45 minutes coming back on ten weekly sailings between 14:15 and 16:30.

That is the whole timetable: one boat out in the morning, several back in the afternoon, from early July to the first week of September.

The pier is at the top of Femunden near the road down to Røros, which makes it the point most passengers join at — everything south of here is national park and cabins. A season of nine weeks is short even by Norwegian standards, but the lake freezes and the walking routes it serves are impassable for most of the year, so the boat and the season it works are the same thing.
