Ferries from Puerto del Rosario

Ten domestic routes connect Puerto del Rosario with four other Canary Islands and the Spanish mainland. From Fuerteventura, regular passenger and vehicle services sail to Arrecife on Lanzarote, Las Palmas on Gran Canaria, Santa Cruz de La Palma, and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. A long-distance connection is also maintained with the port of Cádiz in Andalusia, southern Spain.

Puerto del Rosario Ferry Operators

Two ferry companies operate services from the port. Naviera Armas provides connections to Las Palmas, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and Santa Cruz de La Palma. The second operator is Transmediterránea acciona, which manages the sailings to Arrecife and the mainland Spanish port of Cádiz.

Crossing times vary significantly depending on the destination. The shortest route is the inter-island connection to Arrecife, taking approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. The longest journey is the crossing to Cádiz on the mainland, which has a duration of around 29 hours.
