Ferries from Montserrat

Montserrat is a British Overseas Territory in the Leeward Islands, and it has no scheduled year-round ferry. Its harbour is at Little Bay on the north coast; the old capital of Plymouth, along with its port, lies inside the volcanic exclusion zone left by the Soufriere Hills eruptions and is no longer used.

The sea link that does operate is a day excursion from Guadeloupe rather than a timetabled crossing. FRS Express des Iles and Jeans for Freedom sell round trips from Deshaies, on Guadeloupe's northwest coast, leaving around 08:00 and sailing back from Montserrat about 18:00 - roughly an hour and a half each way. These run on a handful of advertised dates each year, not to a weekly pattern, so they are booked as an excursion rather than as transport.

A Montserrat-owned passenger service to Antigua has been in preparation, but its start date and timetable have not been published. Until they are, most visitors reach the island by air from Antigua. Because no regular sailings exist, this page lists no departure times.
