About Mangareva
The Pitcairn Government’s supply vessel connects Mangareva with two other ports across the Pacific. From this French Polynesian island, the shortest crossing is the 48-hour journey to Pitcairn. The longest available sailing is the 288-hour transit to Tauranga in New Zealand.
Both routes are domestic to the vessel's registry, providing a key link for passengers and freight. All services arrive at and depart from this port in the Gambier Islands archipelago.
