Ferries from Limnos

Limnos sits in the northern Aegean between Lesvos and the Dardanelles, and this berth handles the international crossing to Çanakkale in Turkey — two sailings, 150 minutes, worked by Limni Express between 09:30 and 17:00. It is one of very few direct Greece-Turkey links north of the Dodecanese, and because it crosses an external EU border, passport control applies at both ends. The island is large, flat by Aegean standards and agricultural, with the Allied cemeteries from the Gallipoli campaign at Moudros on its southern bay. Limnos also has regular domestic sailings to Lesvos, Kavala and Piraeus, so the Turkish crossing sits alongside a much denser Greek network at the same quay.
