Chioggia is 1.3 nautical miles across the inlet at 13 minutes; Pellestrina Cimitero is 1.2 nautical miles back up the island at 12 minutes. Sailings span 06:40 to 21:32, with two day patterns covering the week, one of them applying to Thursdays alone.

The strip of land here is a nature reserve, one of the last stretches of undeveloped dune on the Adriatic side of the lagoon, and the boat is the only scheduled way to reach it.
