About

About TurboJET

TurboJet runs the jetfoil and fast-ferry network out of Hong Kong across the Pearl River Delta — most heavily Hong Kong to Macau, but also Macau–Shekou, Shenzhen Airport–Taipa, Hong Kong International Airport–Macau and Hong Kong/Kowloon–Zhuhai.

Sheung Wan to Macau — roughly every half hour

The crossing to the Outer Harbour takes about 60 minutes. Departures run from 07:30 through to 17:30 at half-hourly intervals for most of the morning, then hourly — plus night sailings at 18:30, 19:30, 20:30, 21:30 and 22:30. Returning from Macau the last boat is 23:00. Some departures are marked optional and only run when demand justifies it, so check before relying on one.

Taipa is a separate, thinner schedule

Sailings to Macau Taipa — the Cotai side — run only five times a day: 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 13:30 and 15:00 from Hong Kong. If you are heading for the Cotai Strip and miss these, the Outer Harbour service plus a land transfer is the fallback.

Rules at the terminal

Board at least 30 minutes before departure — staff need the time to check travel documents for the border crossing. Bookings are capped at six sets of return tickets per transaction. And under Hong Kong government instruction, any passenger with a body temperature above 38°C is refused entry to the terminal area.

Classes and extras

Economy, Super Class, Premier Grand and a private VIP cabin, with a dedicated lounge and a Premier Limo transfer for Premier Grand passengers. There are e-tickets, the JETPASS stored-value card, advance seat selection and online meal pre-ordering. The operator also runs Macau harbour cruises and the Dukling junk on Victoria Harbour.
