About
About TurboJET
TurboJET (噴射飛航) is the long-established high-speed ferry operator of the Pearl River Delta, best known for its Hong Kong–Macau crossing. Run by Shun Tak–China Travel Ship Management, it was for decades the flagship jetfoil service between the two cities.
Hong Kong, Macau and the Delta
Its fast craft connect Hong Kong (the Macau Ferry Terminal at Sheung Wan and the airport SkyPier) with Macau's Outer Harbour and Taipa terminals, plus links to Shenzhen and Zhuhai. The busy Hong Kong–Macau route takes about an hour over the 70-kilometre crossing.
Jetfoils and classes
TurboJET has been the world's largest operator of Boeing Jetfoils, alongside high-speed catamarans, offering Economy, Premier and VIP-suite classes. Fares are in Hong Kong dollars; since the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge opened in 2018, the ferries have faced strong competition from the road crossing.
