Setonaikai Kisen (瀬戸内海汽船) is a Hiroshima-based ferry and cruise operator on Japan's beautiful Seto Inland Sea. Established in 1945 from a wartime merger of local operators, it links Honshū and Shikoku and carries visitors to the famous island shrines.
Hiroshima, Matsuyama and Miyajima
Its flagship corridor connects Hiroshima and Kure with Matsuyama on Shikoku, served both by fast "Super Jet" craft and by leisurely "Cruise Ferry" vessels. Further high-speed boats reach Miyajima (Itsukushima), with its torii gate rising from the sea, as well as Etajima, plus sightseeing cruises through the island-studded inland sea.
