Roble Shipping Inc. operates 21 vessels and employs close to 350 people from a base in Cebu, yet only five of its departures appear in this timetable. That is not a gap in our data. It is what the company actually does.

Liner and tramp are two different businesses

Roble runs both roll-on/roll-off liner services and tramp services. A liner sails a published route on published days, which is the kind of sailing a timetable can hold. The daytime sailing only runs at weekends

Cebu to Hilongos has a 21:00 departure every day of the week and a second one at 11:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only. The return works the opposite way round: Hilongos to Cebu leaves at 11:00 daily, with an extra 22:00 sailing on the same three days. Midweek there is one crossing in each direction and it is an overnight one.

An hour longer coming back

Cebu to Hilongos is timetabled at 300 minutes. Hilongos to Cebu is 360. Identical water, one hour of difference, so an itinerary built on the outbound figure will be an hour short at the other end.

Ormoc goes out but not back

The Cebu to Ormoc service leaves at 22:00 and takes three hours. We hold no Roble return leg from Ormoc. The crossing is served in that direction — Ormoc to Cebu appears in our data under a different operator — but if you specifically need Roble northbound out of Ormoc, check with the company rather than assuming from this page.

Where to find the counter

The office is the Roble Building on E.S. Baclig, T. Padilla Extension, in Cebu’s North Reclamation Area. Published hours are 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Saturday and 08:00 to 16:00 on Sundays — a seven-day counter, which fits a fleet whose overnight sailings run every night of the week.
