Marstrandsfärjan is the little passenger ferry to Marstrand, the car-free island town on the Bohuslän coast of Sweden. A Swedish road ferry operated by Trafikverket's Färjerederiet, it is the only way across to the island.
Across to Marstrandsön
The ferry crosses the narrow sound from the mainland ferry berth on Koön to Marstrandsön, the historic sailing town, in just a couple of minutes. Because Marstrand allows no cars, the ferry runs very frequently, carrying foot passengers, cyclists and their gear to and from the island.
