About Innlandstrafikk
Innlandstrafikk is the public transport authority for Innlandet county in inland Norway, formed in 2020 when the Hedmark and Oppland transit agencies merged. Alongside its buses across a large rural county, it administers one of the region's few road-ferry crossings.
Randsfjordferja
Innlandstrafikk plans and publishes the timetable for the Randsfjordferja, a short cable car-ferry across Randsfjorden at Gran, linking Horn and Tangen in about eight minutes. Its current boat, the battery-electric Elrond, has run since 2022, and the crossing has been free of charge for all users since mid-2022.
Lake Mjøsa heritage
The county is also home to Lake Mjøsa, Norway's largest lake, where the veteran paddle steamer Skibladner — built in 1856 and the world's oldest paddle steamer still in service — sails in summer between Eidsvoll, Hamar, Gjøvik and Lillehammer (operated independently, as a heritage vessel). Bus and ferry fares are zonal, in Norwegian kroner, sold via Innlandstrafikk and the national Entur app.
