Mainland to Visby
Its high-speed car-and-passenger ferries cross the Baltic from two mainland gateways — Nynäshamn near Stockholm and Oskarshamn in the south — to Visby, the medieval walled town on Gotland. In peak summer there are up to around sixteen departures a day, carrying well over a million passengers a year plus freight.
