About

About Cotai Water Jet

Cotai Water Jet (金光飛航) is a high-speed ferry operator crossing the Pearl River Delta between Hong Kong and Macau. Launched in 2007 as the ferry arm of the Sands China casino-resort group, it is one of the two big fast-ferry lines on the route.

Straight to the Cotai Strip

Its catamarans sail from Hong Kong — the Macau Ferry Terminal at Sheung Wan, the China Ferry Terminal in Kowloon and the airport SkyPier — to Macau's Taipa Ferry Terminal, right beside the Cotai Strip and its casinos, as well as the Outer Harbour terminal. The crossing takes about an hour.

Fleet and classes

The fleet of around fourteen Australian-built Austal catamarans, cruising at some 42 knots, carries around 400 passengers each and is branded after Sands resorts such as The Venetian and The Londoner. Travel is sold in Cotai Class, Cotai First and VIP-cabin categories; fares are in Hong Kong dollars, with discounts for Macau residents.
