Setúbal to Tróia
A quick passenger catamaran crosses the estuary in about fifteen minutes, while a roll-on car ferry takes vehicles across the wider channel in around twenty-five — together the practical shortcut to Tróia, avoiding a long land detour around the Sado. The estuary is famous for its resident population of bottlenose dolphins.
